Delivery & Installation

Our saunas are delivered on a pallet as standard and include comprehensive installation instructions. You can view these instructions here.

Should you prefer your sauna to be delivered fully assembled, this service is available for an additional fee by selecting the checkbox above.

Unloading and Positioning

While delivery to your doorstep is complimentary, the costs associated with unloading and crane positioning are not included. For flat-pack deliveries, we recommend using a forklift for unloading. However, this can also be done manually, which involves unpacking the sauna on the truck and removing it piece by piece.

Fully Assembled Deliveries

For fully assembled deliveries, either a forklift or a crane will be required, depending on the access to your chosen location. If the access is sufficiently wide, hiring a forklift is generally more cost-effective. In cases where a crane is necessary, the typical cost ranges from £150 to £200.

Alternatively, we can arrange the unloading and positioning for you for an additional fee. Please contact us if you would like to opt for this service.

Warranty

At Heracles Wellness, we are confident in the quality of the products we offer. Therefore, we provide a 2-year guarantee on these saunas when installed by a professional or an approved installer. If the buyer chooses to self-assemble the sauna, the warranty period is limited to 1 year.

To ensure longevity and maintain the factory warranty, please follow these instructions:

  • If you have a self-assembled wooden product, you must finish it both inside and out with an appropriate breathable wood oil to validate the warranty.
  • If any parts are missing or defective during assembly and inspection, promptly take pictures and contact us at info@heracleswellness.co.uk. Buyers must report any missing components within 24 hours of receiving the product. Claims made after this period regarding missing items will not be accepted under warranty. However, we can still supply replacement parts after this timeframe, but these will be chargeable.
  • The sauna must be installed on a pre-prepared foundation that is level to ensure proper functioning of doors and windows.

Warranty Terms:

  • The warranty is valid for 2 years from the product handover for professionally installed saunas, or 1 year for self-assembled saunas, contingent on following the manual and finishing guidelines.
  • Repair or replacement of components does not extend the warranty.
  • Report missing or defective components immediately with pictures and explanations to info@heracleswellness.co.uk. Missing components must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for free replacement. Requests made after this period will incur a charge for replacement parts.
  • We may investigate and involve experts if necessary.
  • The warranty covers construction and component defects, and absence of components.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Self-Assembly Errors: Damages caused by incorrect self-assembly or failure to follow the assembly instructions are not covered.
  • Storage: The warranty does not apply if the product has been stored flatpack outdoors and exposed to weather conditions.
  • Transport: Damages during transport must be reported to the transport company.
  • Installation: If assembly instructions are not followed, or if the foundation is not level.
  • Finish: If the wooden product is not finished inside and outside immediately after assembly.
  • Wood characteristics: Natural wood characteristics, including expansion, contraction, tone differences, knots, resin pockets, and minor cracks.
  • Other: Damage to glass components by the buyer, condensation on glass, and unforeseen circumstances (theft, vandalism, weather).

Warranty Invalidation:

  • Initial inspection: The warranty is void if the buyer does not check the product's quantity, presence, and quality promptly after receiving it and before assembly. Missing parts must be reported within 24 hours of delivery to qualify for warranty replacement. After this period, replacement parts can still be provided but will be subject to additional charges.
  • Installation: Installing faulty components that could have been identified earlier.
  • Information: Providing incorrect information or lacking proof of purchase.
Return and Refunds

Returns and Refunds Policy for Made-to-Order Saunas

At Heracles Wellness, we take pride in offering high-quality, made-to-order saunas tailored to your unique needs. Due to the bespoke nature of these products, our returns and refund policy is designed to reflect the custom craftsmanship involved.

Why Returns Are Limited for Made-to-Order Saunas

Made-to-order saunas are personalised and manufactured based on specific customer requirements. As such, these items cannot be resold or restocked, which is why we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds once fabrication has begun.

We encourage you to carefully review all details of your order before confirming, including dimensions, features, and finishes.

Our Policy in Detail

Customisation Acknowledgement: By placing an order for a made-to-order sauna, you acknowledge that this is a bespoke product tailored to your specifications.

Non-Returnable Items: Once production has started, cancellations, returns, or refunds are not permitted unless the product is defective or damaged upon arrival.

Damaged or Faulty Products:

• If your sauna arrives with damage or a manufacturing defect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

• We will assess the issue and may offer a repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the situation.

Order Review: We strongly recommend double-checking all measurements and customisations to avoid errors.

Right to Cancel (Prior to Fabrication): You may cancel your order before fabrication begins, subject to an administration fee.

Relevant Consumer Laws

Our policy aligns with your rights under UK consumer protection laws, including:

Consumer Rights Act 2015: This law ensures products must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If your sauna does not meet these standards, we will take appropriate action to resolve the issue.

Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation, and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013:

• Bespoke and made-to-order products are exempt from the standard 14-day cancellation period for online sales.

• However, your rights remain protected if the product is faulty or does not match the agreed-upon specifications.

How to Contact Us

If you have concerns about your order, please contact us at info@heracleswellness.co.uk. We’re happy to assist and ensure your satisfaction with our products.

Maintenance

Camilla Compact Traditional Outdoor Sauna 1-2 Person is designed for outdoor use, but it is not maintenance-free. A small amount of regular care will help protect the timber, keep the sauna clean, and prevent avoidable issues over time.

After each use

• Wipe down wet benches, backrests, floors and high-contact areas.

• Leave the door and vents open until the interior has dried properly.

• Do not leave wet towels or accessories inside the sauna.

Cleaning

• Clean periodically with warm water, a soft cloth or brush, and a mild sauna-safe cleaner.

• Avoid harsh household chemicals, bleach, ammonia, abrasive cleaners, or normal interior varnishes.

Benches and backrests

• Sit on towels during use to reduce sweat staining.

• If bench timber becomes dry or marked, it can be lightly cleaned, gently sanded if needed, and treated with a sauna-suitable bench protection product where appropriate.

Doors, hinges and timber movement

• Outdoor timber naturally expands and contracts with heat, humidity and weather.

• Minor door or hinge adjustments may occasionally be required. This is normal routine maintenance rather than a product fault.

Heater stones

• Inspect sauna stones regularly, especially with frequent use.

• Replace stones if they become cracked, crumbly, heavily discoloured, or start breaking down.

• Stack stones loosely enough to allow airflow around the heating elements. Only use proper sauna stones, not garden or beach stones.

Exterior, roof and exposed locations

• Check the exterior, roof, fixings, hinges, vents and drainage periodically, especially after storms or long wet periods.

• Coastal, shaded, very exposed, or high-rainfall locations may need more frequent maintenance.

• In coastal or sea-air locations, exposed metal parts such as hinges, fixings and brackets should be checked more often and given extra corrosion protection where appropriate, such as WD-40 or a suitable zinc-based protective spray.

• In windy or exposed locations, check that any parts vulnerable to wind lift or movement are properly secured. This can include roof shingles, trims, covers and lightweight external fittings. If needed, use additional suitable fixings, adhesive, or restraints in line with the manufacturer’s guidance.

Manuals

• Always follow the specific manual supplied with your sauna and heater. If the manual gives different maintenance instructions, the manufacturer’s manual should take priority.

Camilla timber treatment

Camilla saunas should be protected with suitable breathable wood treatments. If supplied fully assembled or pre-treated, they still require routine inspection and re-treatment over time.

Interior: use a sauna-suitable interior treatment such as Tikkurila Supi Sauna Finish.

Exterior: use a breathable, UV-rated, water-resistant exterior wood treatment. A good example is Osmo UV Protection Oil, available from B&Q.

• Inspect and re-treat exposed timber at least every 12 months, or sooner if your location or manual requires it.

Crafted for Small Spaces

A compact outdoor sauna with the same practical materials and traditional sauna feel as the larger garden models.

ThermoWood Construction

Thermally treated timber improves durability, dimensional stability and outdoor resistance compared with untreated wood.

Tempered Glass Door

The full-height glass door keeps the compact cabin feeling lighter, brighter and more open inside.

Alder Wood Benches

Smooth alder benching gives the sauna a clean traditional interior and remains comfortable in sauna heat.

Katepal Black Roof

A durable roof finish designed to help protect the cabin from year-round outdoor exposure.

Compact Footprint

At just 167cm wide and 120cm deep, the Camilla Compact suits patios and smaller gardens.

Traditional Sauna Heat

A real electric heater with sauna stones gives a proper traditional sauna experience, not an infrared substitute.

Why ThermoWood?

ThermoWood is timber that has been heat-treated to improve stability and durability. The process reduces moisture content and helps the wood resist warping, shrinking and rot.

It also performs well in a sauna environment, helping create a comfortable, consistent heat inside the cabin.

Camilla Compact Traditional Outdoor Sauna 1-2 Person - FAQ's

Does installation include the electrical connection?

No. Our installation team can assemble the sauna, but the heater and any other electrical components must still be connected by a qualified electrician.

You will need a suitable electrical supply and, at minimum, an isolator switch. Full details are provided in the Electrical Supply section on the product page.

Can any qualified electrician connect the sauna, and do you provide guidance?

Yes. Any qualified electrician should be able to connect the sauna, provided they follow the electrical requirements listed in the Electrical Supply section of the product page.

After you place your order, we also send further information that you can pass on to your electrician.

Can you recommend an electrician for the final connection?

In some cases, we may be able to share details of electricians who have connected saunas for previous customers.

Availability will depend on your location, and you are also welcome to use your own qualified electrician.

How long does professional assembly take?

Assembly time depends on the model, access, and site conditions. Many outdoor saunas can be assembled in around one day, while larger or more complex models may take longer.

We confirm the expected installation time as part of your installation quote.

Is the Heracles installation team experienced with this model?

Yes. Our installation team uses specialist carpenters and installers who are experienced in assembling outdoor saunas, which is one of the reasons many customers prefer professional installation.

What sort of base does the sauna need?

Outdoor saunas should be installed on a solid, level, well-drained base that is suitable for the size and weight of the model you are buying.

Suitable options can include a concrete pad, paving, tiles, or structurally suitable decking, provided the surface is flat, stable, and able to support the load without movement.

We also recommend positioning the base far enough away from walls, fences, and other obstructions to allow access for future wood treatment and maintenance, and to ensure the fuse box can still be accessed when needed.

Do you carry out site visits before installation?

No, we do not usually carry out site visits before installation.

In most cases, customers can send us photos, measurements, site plans, and access details, and we can advise whether the proposed location looks suitable.

This is normally enough for us to highlight any obvious issues with access, base preparation, or positioning before the installation goes ahead.

Why has my sauna door gone out of alignment over time?

In outdoor saunas, it is normal for the timber structure to respond to changes in temperature, humidity, and ambient conditions over time. This can occasionally cause minor movement in the door opening, which may affect how the door closes or sits within the frame.

For this reason, sauna door hinges are designed to be adjustable. Minor door or hinge alignment adjustments over time are normal and should be carried out in line with the manual as part of routine ownership maintenance, rather than being treated as a product fault.

Can I see one of your saunas in person before ordering?

We do not currently have a full showroom, but many of our existing customers are happy to show their sauna to prospective buyers.

If you would like to see one in person, please contact us and we can try to arrange a viewing with a customer in or near your area.

Do outdoor saunas need regular maintenance?

Yes. Outdoor saunas are not maintenance-free.

As a minimum, owners should expect to inspect and re-treat exposed timber at least every 12 months, or sooner if the manufacturer manual and local conditions require it.

You should also expect to make minor door or hinge adjustments over time in line with the manual, as timber structures naturally move slightly with changes in temperature and humidity.

In coastal or sea-air environments, exposed metal parts should be checked more regularly and protected with a rust-proof treatment such as WD-40 or another suitable anti-corrosion product.

Sauna heaters also require maintenance in line with the manufacturer manual. This normally includes periodically checking, washing, and restacking the stones, and in the longer term electric heater elements may need replacing if they wear out.

We do not currently operate a formal maintenance programme, but if you would like help, please contact us and we can quote for an annual service of your sauna.

Do I need to paint the sauna?

Yes. The timber should be protected after assembly using suitable breathable wood treatments.

Flat-pack Camilla saunas are supplied untreated because the treatment would be damaged during the assembly process. Once assembled, you should treat the timber in line with the manufacturer’s manual.

For the interior, we recommend Tikkurila Supi Sauna Finish, which is designed for sauna interiors.

For the exterior, use a breathable, UV-rated, water-resistant exterior wood treatment. A good example is Osmo UV Protection Oil, available from B&Q.

You can choose any exterior colour or finish you like, provided it is suitable for outdoor timber, UV-resistant, water-resistant, and breathable. Each sauna comes with spare timber offcuts, so you can test colours before treating the full sauna.

After the initial treatment, inspect and re-treat exposed timber at least every 12 months, or sooner if your location or the manual requires it. Coastal or exposed locations may need more frequent maintenance.

For fully assembled or pre-assembled Camilla saunas, the sauna may arrive pre-treated, but it is not maintenance-free. You should still inspect and re-treat the timber at least every 12 months, or sooner if needed.
