Kuro | 2 person full-spectrum infrared sauna
Full-spectrum infrared recovery with red light built in.
A wider two-person cabin built around daily recovery: mostly far-infrared heat with some near and mid wavelengths on top, a built-in 660/850nm red light panel, a red cedar interior, and a 13A plug so there is no wiring to arrange.
Kuro launched this year, so it has no customer reviews yet, and we are not going to invent any. What you get instead: UK-based support, a 2-year Heracles-backed warranty, free delivery to mainland England and Wales, an EN 62233 EMF test report for the infrared heaters, and a UKCA certificate on file.

Assembly
Two-person build, around 20 minutes once everything is in the room.
Kuro is designed as a straightforward flat-pack cabin. Once the cartons are in position and the floor is level, two adults can usually assemble the sauna in around 20 minutes.
The panels lock together cleanly, the electrical connection is plug-and-play, and the manual walks through the order step by step, so setup feels more like furniture assembly than a building project.
Allow a little extra time for unpacking, checking parts and moving the cartons into place, especially if access is tight or the room is upstairs.
Designed around daily recovery
A two-person cabin that does not feel cramped.
Kuro is wider than most one-person infrared cabins, so two people can share a session without it being a squeeze and a solo session feels genuinely roomy. It still fits a spare room, a home gym or a garage conversion.
The black painted hemlock exterior gives Kuro its clean, modern look. Inside, the red cedar finish brings warmth, aroma and a more premium feel than a plain utility sauna.
Why choose Kuro
Full-spectrum infrared, built-in red light and a cedar interior, in one cabin.
Roomier two-person comfort
A wider cabin with a genuine two-person bench for relaxed shared sessions, taller users and spacious solo use.
Full-spectrum infrared heat
Four far-infrared low-EMF panels handle most of the heat, and two full-spectrum quartz tubes on the back wall add near and mid infrared for broader wavelength coverage than a far-infrared-only cabin.
Red light therapy
Use the 660-850nm red light panel on its own or alongside the infrared heat, so your routine can be a warm sauna session, a light-only session, or both together.
Red cedar interior
The red cedar interior gives the cabin a warmer, more natural feel from the moment you step inside.
Touchscreen control
Set your time, temperature, lighting and media from the touchscreen, with Bluetooth, FM and USB support for music or podcasts during your session.
Made for indoor rooms
Built for a dry indoor space such as a spare room, home gym or garage conversion. Not for outdoor use or damp rooms.
Full-spectrum infrared + red light
Full-spectrum heat, and red light on its own terms.
Four low-EMF far-infrared panels sit around the sides and bench, and two full-spectrum quartz tubes run across the back wall. The warmth comes from several points rather than one hot panel, and the quartz tubes are what add the near and mid wavelengths behind the full-spectrum description.
The red light panel is a separate unit on the front wall, putting out 660nm and 850nm. It can run on its own, without the heat, so a session can be a hot sauna, a light-only session, or both at once.
Research-backed heat therapy
Why people use infrared heat, and what the research shows.
Regular heat therapy has a growing body of research behind it, covering circulation, cardiovascular function, exercise recovery and stress. Kuro is not a medical device and is not a substitute for medical care, but it makes that kind of routine easy to keep up at home. A few of the studies are below.
Circulation and vascular function
A clinical study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology found that repeated 60°C far-infrared sauna therapy improved vascular endothelial function in people with coronary risk factors. View study
Post-training recovery
A 2023 Biology of Sport study found that a post-exercise infrared sauna session reduced subjective muscle soreness and helped preserve explosive performance after resistance training. View study
Stress, fatigue and quality of life
A far-infrared sauna study in people with type II diabetes reported improvements in physical health, general health, social functioning, stress and fatigue scores after regular sessions. View study
Cardiovascular research
A long-term Finnish sauna study found higher sauna-bathing frequency was associated with lower risk of fatal cardiovascular and all-cause mortality events. Association is not proof of cure, but it is strong enough to be taken seriously. View study
Infrared sauna and heart function
A systematic review and meta-analysis found short-term improvements in several cardiac-function markers in heart-failure studies using infrared sauna protocols. This is medical research, not a product promise, but it shows why infrared heat therapy gets serious attention. View review
Use it sensibly
Mayo Clinic notes that infrared saunas can produce reactions similar to moderate exercise at lower temperatures, while also stressing that larger, more exact studies are still needed. If you are pregnant, unwell, have heart or blood-pressure issues, or take medication, check with a clinician before sauna use. Read Mayo Clinic guidance
Controls and atmosphere
Touchscreen control, Bluetooth audio and chromotherapy lighting.
The control panel keeps everyday use simple: adjust time, temperature, lighting and media from one place. Built-in speakers, Bluetooth, FM and USB support help the cabin feel calm, private and easy to settle into.
There is no routine to learn. Step in, set the temperature and timer, put on some music, and let it run.
Dimensions
Check Kuro will fit before you order.
Kuro is approximately 1250mm wide, 1000mm deep and 1950mm high, with the shipment split across three cartons. The internal footprint is approximately 1170 x 920mm, with a bench area of approximately 1106 x 500mm, so you can check the cabin space, access route and final position before ordering.
Place Kuro indoors on a dry, level surface with room around the sauna for ventilation, access and assembly. It is not an outdoor sauna or wet-room product.

Delivery and setup
Plan the room, access route and socket before delivery.
Kuro is made for indoor home use in a dry, well-ventilated room. It is not suitable for outdoor use, wet rooms or exposed covered spaces.
Delivery to mainland England and Wales is included; Scottish supplements and exclusions are explained above. Kuro is supplied with a 13 amp UK plug for a standard indoor household socket, so it does not need a hardwired electrical installation. Keep the socket accessible and check the route from kerb to room before delivery day.
What arrives
Everything you need, delivered across three cartons.
The sauna arrives as a flat-pack cabin rather than one fully built unit, making it easier to bring through normal home access routes. The cartons are still substantial, so clear the route and plan lifting help before delivery.
Inside the package you get the cabin panels, infrared heaters, red light panel, touchscreen control system, Bluetooth/FM/USB audio and built-in speakers.
