Kuro is a two-person indoor sauna with a 1,106mm-wide bench. It seats one person in comfort or two at classic sauna closeness, making it especially roomy for solo sessions.

Yes. Kuro is designed for a dry indoor room such as a home gym, spare room or enclosed garden room. Set it on a dry, level floor with space for assembly, ventilation and service access. It is not suitable for outdoor use, wet rooms or exposed covered areas.

No hardwired electrical installation is required. Kuro has a total rated power of 1,973W and comes with a BS 13A UK plug on a 3m, 3 × 1.5mm² power cable.

Use a suitable, accessible indoor socket. Do not use an extension lead or share the socket with another appliance while the sauna is running.

Kuro provides 1,700W of infrared heat through four low-EMF panels and two 350W full-spectrum ruby-halogen quartz tubes:

• Back wall: one 750 × 400mm, 300W low-EMF panel and two 620mm, 350W quartz tubes
• Left wall: one 700 × 300mm, 200W low-EMF panel
• Right wall: one 700 × 300mm, 200W low-EMF panel
• Bench: one 1,000 × 300mm, 300W low-EMF panel

The 273W red-light panel is separate, bringing total rated power to 1,973W when everything is running.

Kuro uses two 350W ruby-halogen quartz infrared tubes on the back wall. The low-EMF panels provide most of the far-infrared heat, while the quartz tubes add near- and mid-infrared wavelengths for broader full-spectrum coverage.

From a room temperature of about 20°C, Kuro is expected to reach roughly 50°C in 20 minutes and 60°C in 30 minutes. The maximum setting is 65°C, measured by the cabin temperature probe. Actual warm-up time varies with the starting room temperature.

Yes. The 273W panel uses 660nm red and 850nm near-infrared light. Run it on its own, use the infrared heaters without it, or switch on both together for a heated red-light session.

The red-light panel measures 910 × 194 × 60mm and is fixed to the front wall. Its top edge sits approximately 1,095mm above the cabin base plate and 1,143mm above the floor, with minor variation possible after assembly.

Protective black glasses are included and must be worn whenever the red-light panel is on. The manual recommends sessions of 10–20 minutes at 6–12 inches (15–30cm) from the panel, up to five times per week. The panel should remain in its supported front-wall position rather than being moved to a side wall.

No Kuro-specific independent irradiance report at seated distance is currently available, so we do not publish an exact output figure for the completed cabin. The completed Kuro red-light installation has not been tested to EN 62471. Use the supplied protective glasses and follow the distance and session guidance in the manual.

Kuro is UKCA certified, and EN 62233 EMF test documentation is held on file for the infrared heaters. Relevant supporting documents are available from Heracles on request.

No independent emissivity report is currently available for Kuro. UKCA certification and EN 62233 EMF testing cover different compliance and exposure questions; neither measures heater emissivity.

Kuro measures approximately 1,250 × 1,000 × 1,950mm externally. The internal footprint is about 1,170 × 920mm and the bench area is about 1,106 × 500mm.

There is no specified fixed external clearance, but leave enough room around the cabin for assembly, ventilation, access to the socket and future service. Check the complete route from the delivery point to the final room before ordering.

Kuro includes the flat-pack cabin, four low-EMF infrared panels, two full-spectrum ruby-halogen quartz tubes, the 273W red-light panel, protective black glasses, touchscreen controls, chromotherapy lighting, Bluetooth/FM/USB audio, built-in speakers, a 3m UK power cable, assembly hardware and the user manual.

Allow around 20 minutes for two adults to assemble Kuro once all three cartons are in the room, unpacked and checked, and the floor is level. Moving the cartons into place and unpacking them takes additional time. The large panels are awkward to support safely alone, so two people are recommended.

Delivery to mainland England and Wales is included in the product price. Scottish supplements and other regional exclusions are shown at checkout or quoted before ordering.

Kuro arrives in three cartons with a combined gross packed weight of approximately 159kg. Standard delivery unloads the cartons at your address; it does not include unpacking, carrying them to the final room or assembly. Check the access route and arrange suitable lifting help before delivery.

Kuro includes a two-year Heracles-backed parts warranty for residential indoor use. It covers the wooden cabin, low-EMF heating panels, full-spectrum quartz tubes, red-light panel, touchscreen/controller and other electrical components where a defect is confirmed.

Labour is not included. Replacement parts are supplied with fitting guidance, or Heracles can quote for an installer where available. After the two-year period, replacement parts remain available to purchase and are priced when required.

No. Kuro has touchscreen controls plus Bluetooth, FM radio, USB audio and built-in speakers. It does not have Wi-Fi or app control.

The interior is red cedar for a warm, natural cabin finish. The exterior is black-painted hemlock for a darker, modern look.

For a qualifying online consumer order, you normally have 14 days from delivery to tell us you wish to cancel, followed by 14 days to return the goods. Assembly or use does not automatically remove that statutory right, but we may deduct for loss in value where handling goes beyond what would be reasonable in a shop.

Our additional 30-day change-of-mind policy applies only when Kuro is unused, unassembled and returned in its original packaging. Return transport is the customer’s responsibility. A handling charge may apply to voluntary returns made after the statutory cancellation period. Faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods remain covered by your statutory rights.
