Assembly
Two-person build, around 20 minutes once everything is in the room.
Kuro is designed as a straightforward flat-pack cabin. Once the cartons are in position and the floor is level, two adults can usually assemble the sauna in around 20 minutes.
The panels lock together cleanly, the electrical connection is plug-and-play, and the manual walks through the order step by step, so setup feels more like furniture assembly than a building project.
Allow a little extra time for unpacking, checking parts and moving the cartons into place, especially if access is tight or the room is upstairs.
Designed around daily recovery
A compact indoor sauna that still feels like a proper cabin.
Kuro gives you more breathing room than the smallest infrared saunas while still fitting naturally into a spare room, home gym or private recovery space. It is excellent as a solo cabin and can also be used by two people for closer shared sessions.
The black painted hemlock exterior gives Kuro its clean, modern look. Inside, the red cedar finish brings warmth, aroma and a more premium feel than a plain utility sauna.
Why choose Kuro
Full-spectrum infrared heat, red light and cedar comfort in one compact home sauna.
Roomier 1-2 person comfort
A wider cabin for relaxed solo sessions, taller users and occasional shared use when you want to enjoy the sauna with someone else.
Full-spectrum infrared heat
The heater system is mainly far infrared, with a small near and mid infrared component, giving you broader wavelength coverage than a far-infrared-only cabin.
Red light therapy
Use the 660-850nm red light panel on its own or alongside the infrared heat, so your routine can be a warm sauna session, a light-only session, or both together.
Red cedar interior
The red cedar interior gives the cabin a warmer, more natural feel from the moment you step inside.
Touchscreen control
Set your time, temperature, lighting and media from the touchscreen, with Bluetooth, FM and USB support for music or podcasts during your session.
Home-first design
Designed for dry indoor spaces such as home gyms, spare rooms and private wellness rooms.
Full-spectrum infrared + red light
Broader infrared coverage, with red light when you want it.
Designed for both performance and comfort, Kuro uses six low-EMF infrared heaters positioned around the cabin to create a consistent, enveloping warmth. The heating system combines predominantly far infrared with complementary near and mid-infrared wavelengths, delivering a genuine full-spectrum infrared experience.
Separate integrated red light therapy panels provide targeted 660nm and 850nm wavelengths and can be used independently of the sauna heat. Whether you're seeking the deep relaxation of an infrared sauna, the focused benefits of red light therapy, or the restorative effect of combining both, Kuro adapts effortlessly to your wellness routine.
Research-backed heat therapy
The health benefits people buy infrared saunas for are not just marketing fluff.
The benefits of regular heat therapy are supported by a growing body of scientific research, with studies exploring its effects on circulation, cardiovascular function, recovery, relaxation and overall wellbeing. While Kuro is not a medical device and should not be considered a substitute for professional healthcare, it offers a simple way to make restorative heat therapy part of your everyday wellness routine.
Circulation and vascular function
A clinical study in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology found that repeated 60°C far-infrared sauna therapy improved vascular endothelial function in people with coronary risk factors. View study
Post-training recovery
A 2023 Biology of Sport study found that a post-exercise infrared sauna session reduced subjective muscle soreness and helped preserve explosive performance after resistance training. View study
Stress, fatigue and quality of life
A far-infrared sauna study in people with type II diabetes reported improvements in physical health, general health, social functioning, stress and fatigue scores after regular sessions. View study
Cardiovascular research
A long-term Finnish sauna study found higher sauna-bathing frequency was associated with lower risk of fatal cardiovascular and all-cause mortality events. Association is not proof of cure, but it is strong enough to be taken seriously. View study
Infrared sauna and heart function
A systematic review and meta-analysis found short-term improvements in several cardiac-function markers in heart-failure studies using infrared sauna protocols. This is medical research, not a product promise, but it shows why infrared heat therapy gets serious attention. View review
Use it sensibly
Mayo Clinic notes that infrared saunas can produce reactions similar to moderate exercise at lower temperatures, while also stressing that larger, more exact studies are still needed. If you are pregnant, unwell, have heart or blood-pressure issues, or take medication, check with a clinician before sauna use. Read Mayo Clinic guidance
Controls and atmosphere
Touchscreen control, Bluetooth audio and chromotherapy lighting.
The control panel keeps everyday use simple: adjust time, temperature, lighting and media from one place. Built-in speakers, Bluetooth, FM and USB support help the cabin feel calm, private and easy to settle into.
There is no complicated routine to learn. Step in, set your session, put something good on, and let the heat do the quiet work.

Delivery and setup
Plan the room, access route and socket before delivery.
Kuro is made for indoor home use in a dry, well-ventilated room. It is not suitable for outdoor use, wet rooms or exposed covered spaces.
Free mainland UK delivery is included. Kuro is supplied with a 13 amp UK plug for a standard indoor household socket, so it does not need a hardwired electrical installation. Keep the socket accessible and check the route from kerb to room before delivery day.
What arrives
Everything you need, delivered across three cartons.
The sauna arrives as a flat-pack cabin rather than one fully built unit, making it easier to bring through normal home access routes. The cartons are still substantial, so clear the route and plan lifting help before delivery.
Inside the package you get the cabin panels, infrared heaters, red light panel, touchscreen control system, Bluetooth/FM/USB audio and built-in speakers.
