iNHEAT 7kW SpaLine EVI Heat Pump for Hot Tubs and Swim Spas

£1,499.00
LOWER-COST, YEAR-ROUND SPA HEATING

Keep the water hot without asking a 2kW heater to do all the work

The iNHEAT 7kW SpaLine is built for the temperatures a hot tub actually needs. Full Inverter control matches its output to demand, while EVI technology keeps it operating when the weather falls as low as -25°C.

7kW heating output 10–40°C water range <32dB at 10 metres

FULL INVERTER TECHNOLOGY

It works as hard as the water needs, then quietly eases back

A conventional electric heater is a blunt tool: it switches on at full power and switches off again. SpaLine continuously adjusts compressor output to suit the water temperature and conditions outside.

That steadier approach means less wasted energy, a more stable set temperature and less stop-start strain on the compressor. Your actual saving will depend on the spa, cover, insulation, weather and electricity tariff, but the principle is refreshingly simple: buy less heat from the socket.

WHY SPALINE

The useful technology is built in, rather than sold back as an extra

EVI cold-weather performance, reversible heating and cooling, integrated WiFi and quiet-running control are all part of the unit.

01

Cold weather does not end spa season

Enhanced Vapour Injection supports operation down to -25°C ambient temperature, so the heat pump is designed for year-round use rather than fair-weather duty.

02

Your set temperature is in your pocket

Integrated WiFi connects to the Smartlife app, letting you check the water temperature, adjust settings and manage the unit without walking out to the spa.

03

Quiet enough for the garden you bought it for

Published sound pressure is below 32dB(A) at 10 metres. Silent mode reduces output when maintaining temperature matters more than rapid recovery.

04

Heat in winter, cool when summer gets ideas

Reversible operation gives a 10–40°C water set range. Keep the spa at bathing temperature or cool the water for a fresher summer soak.

CONTROL WITHOUT FUSS

Choose speed, silence or let the heat pump decide

AutomaticSelects heating or cooling to hold the chosen water temperature.
BoostRaises output when you want to reach the set temperature sooner.
Silent / EcoRuns more gently when efficiency and lower sound matter most.
Heating / CoolingGives you direct control over the job the unit is doing.
BEFORE YOU ORDER

A compact upgrade, provided the flow and pipework are right

The SpaLine connects to a suitable hot tub or swim spa circulation circuit, normally through a bypass arrangement. The bypass kit is sold separately.

  • Water flow: optimum flow rate of 2m³/h
  • Connections: 1-inch male with Ø32–38mm pipe compatibility
  • Position: stable, level base with at least 300mm clear at the sides and rear and 1.5m clear in front
  • Electrical: 220–240V single-phase, 50Hz supply; have a qualified electrician confirm protection and connection requirements
  • Insulation: insulate the hot tub, circulation pipework and cover to reduce heat loss
  • WiFi: a usable 2.4GHz signal at the unit if you want app control

Compatibility depends on your spa’s circulation, control system and pipe layout. If you are unsure, call us on 0330 043 0870 before ordering and we will help you check the setup.

The iNHEAT 7kW SpaLine is a full inverter EVI air source heat pump for compatible hot tubs and swim spas. It offers reversible heating and cooling, integrated WiFi app control, a 10–40°C water range, ambient operation down to -25°C and a two-year warranty as standard.

iNHEAT 7kW SpaLine EVI Heat Pump for Hot Tubs and Swim Spas - FAQ's

Will the iNHEAT 7kW SpaLine work with my hot tub?

It can work with many electrically heated hot tubs and swim spas, provided the circulation flow, control system and pipe layout are suitable. The published optimum flow is 2m³/h and the hydraulic connection is 1-inch male with Ø32–38mm pipe compatibility; a bypass kit is sold separately. Wood-fired hot tubs use a different heating arrangement. Call us on 0330 043 0870 before ordering if you would like us to help check your setup.

How much could it reduce my hot tub heating bill?

The Full Inverter system is designed to use less electricity than relying solely on a resistance heater by matching compressor output to the heat the water needs. There is no honest one-size-fits-all percentage: the saving depends on spa volume, insulation, cover use, weather, set temperature, circulation time and your electricity tariff.

Do I need a plumber to install it?

Professional installation is recommended. The unit connects to a suitable spa circulation circuit, normally through a bypass kit sold separately, and the water flow must be checked. Heracles does not currently install standalone heat pumps, so customers normally use a local hot-tub engineer or plumber and a qualified electrician. The two-year warranty is standard rather than conditional on professional installation, but the work must still follow the supplied instructions and applicable regulations.

Does it work in cold weather?

Yes. EVI technology supports operation down to -25°C ambient temperature, making SpaLine suitable for year-round use when it is correctly sized and installed. As with every air source heat pump, available output and efficiency change with the outdoor temperature, so the spa cover, insulation and installation still matter.

What electrical supply does it need?

The published supply is 220–240V single phase at 50Hz. A qualified electrician should confirm the cable, local isolation, breaker and RCD protection required for your installation against the supplied manual. Do not assume an existing spa socket is suitable without that check.

Can it cool my hot tub as well as heat it?

Yes. SpaLine is reversible and has a published water-temperature range of 10–40°C. You can select heating, cooling or automatic operation from the local controller, with remote control available through the Smartlife app.

How noisy is it?

Published sound pressure is below 32dB(A) at 10 metres. Perceived noise will vary with distance, operating mode, mounting and nearby walls, so position the unit on a stable base with the clearances in the installation manual rather than boxing it into a tight corner.

What warranty is included?

The iNHEAT SpaLine includes a two-year warranty from the original invoice date, with no reduced term for self-installation. Installation, use and maintenance must follow the supplied instructions. Contact Heracles Wellness before arranging any inspection, repair, replacement or return so we can review and authorise the claim.

How long does delivery take?

Free mainland UK delivery is normally 3–5 working days. We will confirm the delivery window and email tracking once the unit is dispatched.

Can I control it from my phone?

Yes. Integrated WiFi connects to the Smartlife app, allowing you to check the water temperature, change the set temperature and manage operating functions remotely. The app requires a 2.4GHz WiFi network and a usable signal at the heat pump; an outdoor access point or WiFi extender may be needed if the signal is weak.

How much space does the SpaLine need?

Install it on a stable, level base, ideally concrete. Leave at least 300mm clear at the sides and rear and 1.5m clear in front, with nothing obstructing the top or airflow. Position the exhaust away from windows and noise-sensitive areas, and keep enough access for servicing.

Does my hot tub need to be insulated?

Yes. For efficient operation, the hot tub, circulation pipework and cover should all be insulated. Poor insulation increases heat loss, slows recovery and can substantially reduce the saving compared with the spa's original electric heater.

How quickly will it heat my hot tub?

Under normal conditions, the manual says a correctly sized heat pump can raise the water temperature by around 1–2°C per hour. Actual heat-up time depends on the starting temperature, water volume, outdoor temperature, insulation, cover use and flow rate. A small temperature difference at the outlet while running is normal.

What maintenance and winter care does it need?

Check the water flow monthly and clean the filter when needed. Clean the cabinet with a damp cloth and the rear evaporator carefully with a vacuum and soft-brush attachment. A qualified person should check the safety systems, wiring and earthing at least annually. If you drain and winterise the spa, disconnect the heat pump, drain it fully and store it in a dry place rather than leaving water inside to freeze.

What water chemistry should I maintain?

Keep the water pH between 6.8 and 7.8. Any chlorine, bromine, pH or salt-chlorination dosing equipment should be installed downstream of the heat pump in the water circuit. Poor water chemistry can damage the heat exchanger and may affect warranty cover.
