Yes. The £3,999 complete kit includes the Harvia Vega Compact BC35 3.5kW electric heater and 12kg of sauna stones.

The BC35 has built-in controls, so it does not need a separate external controller. Final wiring must be completed by a qualified electrician; electrical connection is not included with sauna assembly.

The Aris Lite seats three in comfort and four at classic sauna closeness. The 2.12m two-level bench gives a couple or three friends plenty of room to relax, and comfortably brings a fourth in for family or social sessions. The 1764mm depth keeps the footprint sensible for UK gardens.

The external dimensions are 2238mm wide, 1764mm deep and 2200mm high. Internal dimensions are 2120mm wide, 1646mm deep and 2040mm high, with a 7.0m³ steam room volume.

The standard Aris Lite set includes Lunawood ThermoWood exterior cladding, 40mm ThermoWood walls, ThermoWood floor and ceiling, tempered bronze glass, a bronze glass door with premium handle and black hinges, a two-level bench with two-board backrest, ventilation openings, black painted base frame and EPDM roof cover with metal corner roof covers.

The current Aris Lite heater choices are Harvia KIP80 8kW Black with 40kg stones, or HUUM DROP 9kW with 60kg stones.

The Harvia is the simpler manually controlled route. The HUUM DROP gives a more sculptural heater and larger stone mass, but it needs separate HUUM controls selected as part of the configuration.

The sauna needs stable, level ground that will not settle. Suitable options may include a concrete base, paving base or well-prepared structural deck.

Yes. The Aris range is designed for outdoor use with ThermoWood construction, tempered glass and an EPDM roof cover. Like any outdoor timber product, it still needs routine cleaning, ventilation and exterior maintenance to keep it performing well.

The Aris Lite arrives flat packed on a pallet of approximately 1.20 x 2.30 x 1.20m, weighing around 650kg before packaging. Flat-pack delivery and unloading to mainland England and Wales are included.

From there, most customers choose our installation team to handle positioning and assembly — installing with us also extends your warranty from 1 to 2 years. No. Delivery and installation do not include electrical connection. The selected electric heater, HUUM controls where applicable, and any LED lighting must be connected by a qualified electrician in line with UK electrical regulations.

In most cases, no. At 2200mm high, the Aris Lite sits below the 2.5m threshold that usually applies to garden buildings under permitted development rules, even close to a boundary. Rules can differ for listed buildings, conservation areas, raised platforms and flats, so we recommend a quick check with your local planning authority if any of those apply to you.

Outdoor saunas need light but regular care. Keep the sauna clean and ventilated after use, inspect the exterior timber, glass, hinges and roof edges regularly, re-treat exposed timber as required, and maintain the heater in line with the heater manufacturer manual.

The made-to-order Aris Lite price is for the sauna cabin/base set. It gives you the flexibility to choose your heater, lighting, glass and other paid options in the customiser, so it is the right page if you want to tune the specification rather than buy a fixed bundle.

The Aris Lite Kit is a fixed pre-order package at the same £7,499 headline price, with the Harvia KIP80 8kW heater and stones, dimmable LEDs behind the backrest and under the bench, bucket, ladle, thermometer and delivery to mainland England and Wales included. Configured separately, that package comes to £8,546, so the kit is the stronger-value choice if the included setup suits you.

If your sauna has exposed or untreated exterior timber, use a breathable, UV-resistant and water-resistant exterior wood treatment. We recommend Tikkurila Valtti Plus Kesto or Tikkurila Valtti Plus Color. If you prefer a clear, natural finish, Osmo UV Protection Oil is a good option.

Apply the treatment after assembly and before regular use, then inspect the timber annually and re-treat it as required for the product and your site’s exposure.

For sauna-room walls, window frames and door frames, use Tikkurila Supi Sauna Finish or Tikkurila Supi Sauna Wax. For benches and backrests, use Tikkurila Supi Laudesuoja Bench Protection. Never use ordinary exterior paint, varnish or household wood treatments inside the heated sauna room.

If your sauna has factory-finished or specialist cladding, follow the supplied manual and do not overcoat it unless the manufacturer confirms the product is suitable.

These recommendations are general guidance. Check both the sauna manufacturer’s manual and the treatment manufacturer’s instructions, and satisfy yourself that the product is suitable for the timber and any existing finish before applying it. If you are unsure about a colour, request samples from the manufacturer or retailer and test one on a spare timber offcut or a small, inconspicuous area first.

Buy one 2.7-litre tin (2.7 litres total) of Tikkurila Supi Sauna Finish for the sauna-room walls and ceiling, and one 1-litre tin (1 litre total) of Tikkurila Supi Laudesuoja for the benches and backrests. For untreated exterior timber, buy either one 2.7-litre tin and one 0.9-litre tin (3.6 litres total) of Tikkurila Valtti Plus Kesto or three 0.75-litre tins (2.25 litres total) of Osmo UV Protection Oil Extra for the specified two-coat systems.

Lunawood ThermoWood does not need a rot treatment. Exterior coating is optional if you want to slow natural silvering or change the colour; confirm that the chosen finish is approved for ThermoWood before applying it.

The buying calculation uses 14.88 m² interior requiring 2.14 litres, and 3.57 m² of bench timber requiring 0.51 litres, with 12.17 m² outside requiring 3.5 litres of Valtti or 1.55 litres of Osmo. It uses the lower published coverage rate and one coat inside, two coats on untreated exterior timber, with a 15% allowance. Glass, roof shingles or membranes, the underside and confirmed factory-painted trim are excluded.

These are conservative buying allowances. Follow the current label and technical sheet for the product you choose; if its coverage or coat count differs, use those figures instead.

Yes. Our traditional saunas are suitable for commercial use, and we already supply many commercial customers.

Commercial use requires a regular maintenance regime, as it would with any sauna. This includes cleaning the sauna, inspecting and maintaining the heater stones, and re-treating or painting the timber when required. The frequency will depend on usage, location and the manufacturer's maintenance instructions.
